my kakak tak berlat is married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Alhamdulillah. congrats ndak!! my happiness is beyond words, AND tears. heh.and theyre all for her, and my abang eski. hehe.
so i told some people about ewa's marriage. they were happy and excited of course :) how can anyone resist. i guess its a natural reaction to go all googoo-gaga bout it, especially when the wedded couple is close to you.
and plus, in their case, its a pretty rare circumstance today, that people of that age gets married. oh have i mentioned, they are 23. but have also been an item for almost 5 years now. hehe.. :)
thus it became the hottest news of the year, i remember.
the preparation was only 12day old. imagine trying to get a kursus kahwin cert, getting a tok kadi in less than two weeks notice, canopy, caterer, and all the other things u can think of in planning a wedding. although, mum and dad decided that it was just going to be a small tunang-nikah thingy with only 500 or so guests..fair enough.
ewa got her gorgeous wedding gowns settled Alhamdulillah. what a blessing in disguise for having a bestfriend with a wedded sister of the same tiny size and GREAT taste :) hihi.
AS WELL AS a multi-talented first cousin who kautimed her make-up, pelamin, brides room, and house interior&exterior decos. phewh. eno's simply all that. two thumbs up for him~!
and not forgetting, a WHOLE phat family of support in every possible way, cousins and aunties and friends who went out of their ways in helping out. it was just so amazing, i swear..
andddd yeap, the wedding went so well, it couldnt get any better. my friends came despite me "not" being around (they werent aware of me coming home, surprise surprise!hihi), relatives and more relatives filled every possible space at every corner of the house, in and out. according to mum's loyal caterer, there were at least seven to eight hundred guests present. hihi. not bad at all for a small one eyh?
so Alhamdulillah, with Allah's will, everything went as planned. smoothly. everybody was happy. ewa and eski of course, the happiest! hihi.
speaking of which, i will not miss out the part where dad spoke. his speech was awesome. he teared a few times. everybody else did too im pretty sure. he was basically conveying his extreme happiness. he was happy, glad and overwhelmed that things went well. he was (so sweetly) expressing his deepest gratitude to my mum, for being the best wife ever :), and was utterly grateful that the wedding actually took place. it seemed to me that initially he was in great doubt the wedding was even going to happen. less than two weeks, just imagine. but yea, the whole Zaghlol squad, and the rest of the planning crew convinced him that it will. and it did. :)
so my most sincere congratulations to the successfully wedded power couple, my own sister, the bestest friend i own, Ewa, and her loving husband, Eski.
here's to a fantastic, most exciting life together. stepping into a whole new world of REAL responsibilities, i think, will be the most challenging phase of your life, so remember to not sweat the small stuff ;) all the best ndak, prove to the world ur ready! with all my might, im 120% at ur back, always.
